The PP works very well with its new Kazoo/USB Drive trick, and very easy to set up. It's almost unnerving not to be relying on networked server and storage for a change!

... I am simply stunned at the SQ. Soundstage is the biggest single improvement as it is now so precise and huge. I have never heard my system sound as natural and real...

My e22 is amazing, it works, it is simple and compared to all these newer models, is just plain straightforward.

...The sound is FANTASTIC, the depth is enormous, compared to my OPPO BDP-105. I thought I had a good sound with the OPPO but the e28 really put everything "alive". Amazing the difference.

It doesn’t get better than this. My wife tolerates anything I want to get for the things I enjoy, lovely habit. I was surprised that she showed any reaction at all when I decided to go for the e22, which was more than what I had been thinking about spending...

"I wanted to let you know how impressed I still am with my e22 DAC. I have been recently using it as a headphone amplifier for my new Audeze LCD-XC headphones, and the sound is tremendous. I had been thinking that I would need a "dedicated" amplifier to make these things sing, but the headphone amp in the e22 has proven to be quite a tremendous match. Thanks again for making such a great product!"

"...As soon as I got home after picking up the e22 I connected the digital output from my Meridian 508 CD player to the e22's digital in. I put on a CD by The Bad Plus and flipped back and forth between CD and e22 (after making sure the output levels were the same). I've always been happy with the Meridian 508, but right away I heard some interesting differences. Where the e22 was clean and crisp, the 508 had some "bloom" that I hadn't noticed before - especially in the lower frequencies. I also noticed that the e22 excels at 3D spatial placement, with a lot of front/back information...."

"...I invited some friends over the other night. They thought I'd have a new library of hi-def music for them to hear. And I have purchased quite a few DSD and 24-bit PCM downloads in the last month, but in the end I just played stuff I liked. Some of it was hi-def, and the jaws of my friends dropped to suitable positions, but for most of the night we listened to tracks ripped from my CD collection. I'm not trying to say the red-book material sounded as good as the hi-def downloads. We could all hear and appreciate the difference. My point is that thanks to the e22 we had a great time listening to music. And shouldn't that be the goal of any "high end" audio component?..."

Thanks to the e28 DAC my system has been elevated to a higher level. Everything sounds much more detailed, even with very complex music every tiny detail gets through and is so separated that I get a feeling that music has become faster. Although the sound comes out very detailed, it is not at any time sharp or unpleasant. This is very natural sounding DAC. I have never heard more natural vocals and cymbals. Finally, "s" sounds as it should and every fundamental has it's right harmonics without any smearing. Thank you, exaSound!"
